Job Role

As a Product Manager for Data Products, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the data product requirements, covering shopper insights and data predictions to drive smart syndication. You will own the product roadmap for data products and take new ideas through the full product development lifecycle.

On a regular basis, you will communicate clearly, via status updates to all levels and areas of the business. You will work backwards from the ideal customer experience and capture the product vision, strategy and definition to get stakeholders buy-in; and oversee the creation of detailed solutions to client problems.

You will work with the Tech, Shopper Insights & Optimisation (SIO) teams to conduct qualitative and quantitative research into competitors, market conditions, legislation, demographics, contractual obligations, brands, retailers and shopper trends that will inform and shape the Flixmedia value proposition. You will work collaboratively across the business on multiple, simultaneous product developments.

You will work in a Product Owner role to plan the sprints for the Data Products developer squad. You will be responsible for backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives plus participation in daily stand-ups.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy – Managing the full Product Development Lifecycle, identifying Success Metrics, creating User Personas, Empathy Maps, Use Cases, business model canvas, value proposition canvas & user story maps. Also prioritizing resources & road-mapping.

Marketing & KPIs
Market Analysis, Product Hypotheses, Strategic Positioning & Competitive Advantage

Product-Market Fit
Quantitative & Qualitative User & Data Research, MVP definition, Feature Prioritization, A/B Testing

Design Thinking
Product Description Document, Prototypes, Wireframes, User research, Validating Ideas

Collaborating with Stakeholders
Agile Methodologies (Scrum), Cross-functional Communication with Engineering & Business Product

Marketing
Customer Acquisition Channels, Pricing, Brand messaging, Product launch

Competencies

Experience

3+ years of software product management, and/or preferably in a fast-paced online ecommerce environment  

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or MBA and/or deep experience in Data science/analytics/eCommerce
