WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT? We Rent Your Movies OnLine A NEW DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL Any producer or distributor can now include Digital Video on Demand (DVoD) as part of their multi-channel marketing. FlixMedia is looking for industry wide submissions from production and distribution companies (Student, Amateur and Professional, Indie), video graphers, directors, producers, and performers. We need personal and professional videos for distribution on FlixMedia and affiliate sites. HOW TO SUBMIT Each movie/video must have an individual submission form. Submissions become the property of FlixMedia, Inc. Only submissions meeting our guidelines will be accepted for consideration. Neither FlixMedia nor it's affiliates will transmit or otherwise make accessible any movie/video submission that is: unlawful, harmful, threatening, tortious, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or malicious; actually harms, or has the possibility of harming, minors in any way; contains hate propaganda or promotes discrimination or violence against any people on account of their race, national origin, religion, age, gender, disability or sexual orientation; infringes any patent, copyright, trademark, service mark, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any other party; or otherwise violates any local, state, national or other applicable laws and regulations. FlixMedia will not return and submissions unless agreed to IN WRITING and IN ADVANCE. Please submit only a COPY of your video. For screeners, please provide an acceptable format (see list below). For encoding and packaging please submit master on approved format (see list below). Once you have completed the on-line submission form you will be emailed a submission number. Be sure that the number appears on the ORIGINAL printed and signed form that you will submit with the screener. all the information you enter will appear on the printed copy. Submission Requirements: Screeners: VHS, CD-Rom (.avi (preferred) or .mpg format), DVD Masters: Beta SP, MiniDV, S-VHS Video, CD-Rom (.avi (preferred) or .mpg format) Submissions from Europe and Asia need to convert from European PAL format to North American PAL format before submitting videos to us since we cannot convert them. After you fill out the form, we strongly suggest that you print two copies. One copy will accompany your video. The other copy you will retain for your records.
